Community Development Through Polytechnic

This polytechnic was declared Community Polytechnic in the year 1992 by the Ministry of Human Resources Department (MHRD), Govt. of India.

1. OBJECTIVES OF THE SCHEME:



1. The main objectives of the scheme are :

  1. To carry out Need assessment surveys to assess the technology and training needs.
  1. To impart Skill Development Training to the intended target groups.
  1. To disseminate Appropriate Technologies for productivity enhancement.
  1. To provide Technical and Support Services to rural masses and slums dwellers.
  1. To create Awareness among the target groups about technological advancement and contemporary issues of importance.
